Bound in the uniform series binding of mustard colored cloth with black stamped diagonal Japanese-influenced design to front cover of a spider with web, an oak leaf and branch, and a small open fan. Spine has title in gilt with black stamping and Henry Holt publisher's device of owl. Stamping of reeds and cattails continues around to the rear cover.
