Bound in mustard yellow cloth with elaborate black stamping to cover and spine of a bordered Asian-inspired leaf, branch, and flower design with a diagonal orientation. Urns with flowers, an owl, and a title ribbon band to the cover stamped in gilt. Cover stamping fills the entire board and spine. Spine has a wide title band stamped in gilt. Yellow endpapers.
