A letter from Barrett discussing his move to the university, and included a price list and other product information; the letter is folded over various Western and Japanese paper samples. An envelope from Kalamazoo to Jennifer Woods at the Library Company of Philadelphia. A small envelope, including various samples and a note by Barrett; the envelope has 'Tim Barrett Papers' written on the front. Another letter from Barrett written in 1985 discussing future plans, folded around a test report on samples of some new papers (this dates to 1983).
