Bound in a wide white cloth spine stamped in an embossed gilt floral design. With glazed pictorial paper covered boards to cover in a dainty flower design printed in pink, and green against a cream background. All edges gilt. Binding represents a style which was extremely popular at the turn of the century noted for white spines and repeating small flower patterns in calico-like cloth or paper - obviously marketed to the feminine buyer.
