Art nouveau gilt stamped design of intertwining iris by Margaret Armstrong. Binding is unsigned. Bound in ivory/grey cloth with elaborate gilt spine decoration and titles in gilt stamped iris design, but in variant cloth color and pale grey stamping to iris. One of a set of Reed titles which was issued at various times by Putnam, and is most commonly seen in lavender cloth. Top edge gilt. Deckled page edges.
