Back laced covers of heavier black paper, with lacing of the same. End pages of a heavier peach paper. Light mint pages, with each one having their own prose poem. These fifty short prose poems follow the mind watching and noting, adjusting to and rearranging the terms of existence and love — what we can hope for when we realize the body is mostly not ours to control. Unpaginated but 58p, with linoleum cuts.

Colophon at back. Poems set in 12 point Bulmer using Monotype sorts cast in 1988 for the Yellow Barn Press master printer Neil Shaver. Title and numerals are Empire , set from a font found in 2003 in Coon Rapids, Iowa. Printed on Vandercook no. 4, text and linocut printed on dampened Neenah Mint Letterpress Paper. Rose Fabriano Tiziano endsheets and black handmade Cave Paper covers. The first print completed Friday, November 9, 2018.
