Bound in pale grey cloth with elaborate gilt spine decoration and titles. Notable for the iris design created by embossing the pale grey cloth and stamping the background a subtle pale green. Front cover has elaborate art nouveau gilt stamped design of a woman's portrait in ivory. Top edge gilt, deckled page edges. Signed binding, "MA" at lower right side of gilt panel portrait.
