Binding Notes
Bound in dark green fine-ribbed cloth with stamping in gilt and white. Cover has a cream white seagull with outstretched wings hovering over gilt stamped boats. Notable for the heightened perspective of the gull and the way its wing extends off the edge of the cover. Also notable for the embossing which creates the textures of sky and water.
