The poster was used to promote Tina Lenert's stage performance "Mechanical Doll."

Context

Tina Lenert, born in Venezuela in 1948, is a mime, magician, and musician. Lenert has been performing from the early 1970's to present, with her career beginning as a classical guitarist. Later, Lenert became a mime, which led to her magician-work soon after. Lenert is one of the founding members of the L.A. Mime Company in Los Angeles, California, and has appeared on television numerous times showcasing her performance work. Two well-known performances of Lenert's are her "Mechanical Doll" and "Mopman." Lenert married fellow magician Mike Caveney in 1977. Lenert has been voted Stage Magician of the Year by the Academy of Magical Arts & Sciences.
