Context

Born in 1835, Georgiana Eagle was a female magician, hypnotist, and psychic who performed as a solo act, touring across Europe and the United States throughout the mid-1800's. Georgiana was trained by her father, George Bernardo Eagle, a magician known as "The Wizard of the South." Georgiana's expertise brought her to the company of Queen Victoria of England where Georgiana performed for her privately in 1846.
