Use

The program was used as a promotional tool advertise and showcase the organization's event "The Magical Circus."

Context

The Magigals were the first magic organization that was composed exclusively for women and was officially organized in 1939 with a mission to promote an interest of magic to women in Southern California. The Magigals soon after took wind, opening mupltiple chapters throughout the United States. The Magigals first President was Geraldine Larsen, who acted as President until 1960. Carolyn Task was Vice-President, and Theresa Leon was Secretary. The Magigals disbanded in 2001 and merged with the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians.
