Description

This is a 1950s new-old-stock (NOS) sign made from plastic, neon and metal. The top half features a special ripple tin, patented by Artkraft Sign Co., (Lima, OH,) the sign's maker. It has rounded bullnose ends that feature a wheat-grass like motif on either end with cast aluminum. The "Swain Furniture Co.," panel is made with two glass faces: the first is clear glass that is reverse screen-printed, and the second panel is textured/painted in a translucent yellow. It is still in its original crate although it has been reinforced for stability.
