Name/Title

Foster's Freeze Neon Sign

Description

This double-faced painted sheet metal sign was originally located in Orange, CA. Note the plastic ice cream “insert” in the cone. It is internally illuminated with a lightbulb. If you look closely at the two white panels at the top right, you can see a ghost image of the original lettering: “A rich ice milk product.” Presumably, this was painted over when the company changed the formulation of its product.
