Description

1950s Freeman Shoes neon point-of-purchase sign has clear plastic accents and a plastic panel mounted in front of and hiding the box housing the transformer. Note how the transformer is hidden behind the panel reading, "The footwear of successful men."  This was manufactured by Panelli Displays, Inc. of Chicago.
