Description

The early 1930s art deco neon sign features a ripple tin cabinet and an intricate neon ribbon logo border.  Sign was manufactured by Flexlume Sign Corp., Buffalo, NY, and is one of only three known to exist. Its no. 3 glass housings were patented by Flexlume and its metal sign face was hand-painted. The rippled tin, an "embossed" look is completed with bullnose ends on either side. Neon was restored after acquiring the sign in 2004, including the Italian imported “Gasoline” tubing which simulates what would have originally been noviol gold glass.
