Description

This circa 1960 sign was for Cincinnati the sign supply company that first opened as a full service supplier in 1946. It serviced shops in Tennessee, Indiana and Michigan. Around 1967, the company moved from downtown Cincinnati to 1111 Meta Dr. once the riverfront stadium opened and displaced many businesses. Cincinnati Sign Supplies, Inc., was acquired by GSG in 2016. The sign itself is in two parts; the top section says Cincinnati with the lower section showing Sign Supplies, Inc, all in white type. Both sign faces are green porcelain enamel and outlined by a metal border.
