Description

Circa 2002 sign for Azzi and Wolf Fine Violins shop, originally located at 1400 Elm Street across from Music Hall in Cincinnati. It was registered in 2002 and co-owned by Andy Wolf, who had joined the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in 1949 and toured for 39 years, and Jules Azzi, who became the sole owner after Wolf's death and moved the business to 1438 McMillian Street. The wooden sign is in two sections. The top half shows "Azzi & Wolf" with the bottom half showing "Violins Violas Cellos." It is presumed to be hand-carved on distressed wood, adding a vintage feel. The fancy script is in white font.
