Description

The Reserve Inn was started in 1958 by Minnie Wagner and her husband, Leo, located at 30 W. Streetsboro Street in downtown Hudson, OH. It was operated by the Wagner family until it closed in 2012. Leo and Minnie's son, Denny began working at the restaurant around 1968 and later on, took the business over. This large, free-standing neon sign was posted out front the Wagner business. It stands upon two pylons and reads "Leo's Reserve Inn Restaurant," and "Cocktail Lounge," with white lettering on a red background. In 2006 when Minnie and Denny remodeled the restaurant, they had the sign refurbished and added Leon's name  in memory of the patriarch who had died in 1993. This sign was one of two signs that came from the historic downtown area of Hudson, OH, at this time, (see also 2019.0002.0010).
