Double-faced porcelain-enamel neon sign with open channel letters.

Context

Benny’s Auto & Home was established in 1924 by Benjamin Bromberg. The first store was located in Providence, RI and the chain grew to 32 stores when the chain closed in 2017. The franchise spanned CT, MA and RI. This particular sign was in a storefront window (see photo of plaque on side of sign).
