Description

This brush belonged to Arthur Vanson (1948-2012), a sign painter from Chesham, Buckinhamshire, England. At the age of 15, Arthur took over his father's sign business, Buck's Signs, and rode his bicycle to and from jobs as he was too young to drive a vehicle yet. Vanson was known for a simple yet punchy style. He created several fonts for the Letterheads such as American Sans, Red Sable Script and others.
