This neon skeleton sign was designed by Rudi Stern and hung in the original Let There be Neon Gallery gallery located at 451 West Broadway in New York City. Stern was the author of the 1979 book of the same name, and he opened the gallery in 1972. He is credited as being one of the most influential individuals of neon resurgence in the 1970s, particularly in seeing neon as an art medium.Collection
