Hand lettered Sign Kit

Context

Macosko Signs opened for business in 1938, as much as the family is able to determine. Brothers, John and Michael Macosko, supplied gold letters for windows and glass doors throughout downtown Pittsburgh, PA. When John was killed in 1961 in a plane crash in Chicago, younger brother, Andrew, continued the business. John's daughter Olga continued the business for the next five years until it closed in 1970.
