Description

Set of single-faced, reverse channel, sheetmetal letters. These letters were backlit with neon and mounted approximately 4 inches of the wall.

Context

Sunlit Pool in Cincinnati's Coney Island was constructed in 1925 as the 'world’s largest recirculating pool'. It closed March 21, 2024 after almost 100 years serving the public. These letters were purchased by the donor at auction before being gifted to the museum.
