1985.1.6Description
Picture executed in black and white. Image of a room floor in the foreground, chandelier from above, and a wall and window in the background. A window appears to be set apart from the rest of the wall by a shallow alcove; beyond the glass, there appears to be a small terrace with a wrought iron railing. Window composed of six panes of equal size (rectangular) which have been placed two per row in three rows that extend from the floor to a point approx. 3/4 of the way up the window frame. From there the top two windows have Romanesque arches forming their upper dimensions. The room appears to be of Victorian architecture with high ceilings and decorative, massive moldings. The room is empty of furnishings. Ed. 16/50Collection
