1972.5.1Description
6/25 Various degrees of black on off-white paper; a cooking pot holding cone forms and seemingly a box dominates the central image. The pot is sitting on a surface surrounded by spikes. Hanging from a section of the ceiling are pipes with wrinkled fabric with fringe on each end. There are five and the middle three are resting on the open box in the pot. They cast black shadows on the wall behind. On each side of the pipes are hooks with an eyelet on the bottom. Below the spikes is an open area of trash or scraps. A rounded black pipe borders the picture on the left and another on the right. Signed "R. Toner" in the lower right corner.Collection
