Etching in dark brown in on off-white textured paper depicting a rutted road extending from the immediate foreground into the middle-ground. Several figures upon the road are in the foreground, with some in the distance. To the right of the road in the foreground is a large tree which dominates the composition. Also to the right is a large house with some out buildings; a single telephone pole and wires and a fence running along the road. To the left of the road is a steep hill with a fence running along the crest of the hill, with three telephone poles with wires behind; and two buildings. The middle ground consists of several trees, with a open cloudless sky above. The print is signed in pencil below the image on the right side, "Frederick Polley" and is numbered in pencil below the image on the left side "6/25."
