Description

A street scene with the right half the canvas mostly in dark values and intense colors. Left half is mostly in pastels and softer tones. An abstracted figure is standing in the lower left foreground looking out onto a street lined with houses. Most of the houses are painted a vibrant red and surrounded by leafless trees. There is a figure walking up the steps in the house in the foreground and a group of people coming down the street. There is an unknown object to the left of the foreground figure, possibly a boat.
