Possibly part of a diptych ( with 1981.5.2). If so, this is the right side. There are branches and a tree along the left side that match up with the tree on the other piece. There is an open pasture with smaller trees all along the right side. There are five cows grazing in the open pasture. "Spring Meadow" is written in pencil on the backside of the frame. Possibly the title.
