Oil on canvas of a still life depicting peppers, onions, turnips, an apple, eggplant, dried herbs, a tall green wine bottle on the left, corked brown bottle beside it, an illustrated plate of an interior scene of three figures at a table, and a white pitcher on the right with a brown floral pattern. The objects rest on a plaid blanket or cloth which also serves as the background. A white cloth also extends into the space from the left side.
