Description

The piece is a portrait of a man, done in apparent imitation of some computer imaging process. Predominant image that of a man who is seen in profile to the viewer and is facing left. The person in the central image appears to be wearing a hat pulled low over the eyes, and he may be facing slightly down as if looking at the ground. Image divides nicely into two parts. The upper portion looks almost like a banner or flag with stripes of pink and aquamarine on the left and the man's face on the right. The lower portion of the image appears as an arrangement of boxes, organized like chairs in a movie theatre. The man's face can be seen on one of the boxes as if it were a reflection of the two faces in the flag above. However, he can be seen on another box without his hat on, looking out almost as if he were looking slightly to the left of the viewer. Print 5/14
