Realistically rendered picture in blue tones of deserted storefront with "For Rent" sign in the left central section. The work was executed on high quality paper, probably non-acidic fiber content. The viewer apparently stands in the street looking squarely onto storefront. There is a torn screen door, old and unpainted, is in the center of focal attention. To the right of
the door are the numbers "154" that have been nailed to the building. The floor of the entryway is made of wood; the sidewalk is a non-slip metal construction; and the street guttering is red brick. It is signed "Floyd D. Hopper" in the lower right corner.
