Description

The larger design consists of an eye shape in the center with pear shapes connected to each end. The smaller end of each pear shape touches the corners of the paper. These five shapes have a triple lines border with a floral and leaf design in the center. There are also designs and text with in each shape. In the center of the top left pear shape reads "To describe six equal circles on a given hexagon" and includes a diagram. The bottom left reads "To describe a succession of circles touching each other...". The top right "Describe six equal circles about a given hexagon". Bottom right "Draw an interior tangent to two unequal circles." Center "The plan and evaluation of a cylinder...". There are also two linear designs. One is above the center eye shape and is an example of Celtic ornament and the other is below and is an example of an interlacement band. Label at the bottom center reads "For Art Teacher's Certificate".
