Raygun #1: Shoot for the Moon

Name/Title

Raygun #1: Shoot for the Moon

Entry/Object ID

2017.3.1

Description

Black and white drawing of a raygun. We see a side shot of the raygun, which takes up most of the image, almost touching each edge. The gun is point towards the left. There is a small white star on the back of the gun. In the background, there is a circular, dial shape with white zodiac signs starting with cancer near the handle and moving clockwise: Leo, Virgo, Libra, and so on. Just below the trigger is a circular area that has a magnifying effect. Signed "PRATER" in the bottom right corner in white. The primed paper is obvious and gives the whole piece a painterly, or brush-like, feel.
