1979.3.6Description
Non-objective image of biomorphic shapes that appear to be afloat in a field of horizontally oriented color stripes of red, white, blue and gray delineated by darker gray streaks. Images appear as smears that are primarily oriented on a vertical plane; some are large while others appears to be little more than scratches. Written in the lower left in pencil, "Trial Proof." In the lower center is written "Foolish Pleasure," and in the lower right written in pencil is "Dan Socha 1978." The outer perimeter of the picture plane is composed of a dark gray rectangular form with rounded corners. Paper appears to be of good quality but bears no watermarks.Collection
