Description

Central image of primarily grey/blue vertically oriented rectangular object with untreated paper surface visible in form of a crack extending UL to LC of picture plane. Edges of image are curvilinear and natural rather than geometric in appearance. Paper bears the watermark "BFK" below the artist's signature in the lower left corner. Color used include blue, gray, black, brown, orange, and green. An orange triangular form appears in the lower corner in grey body of central image. Below the lower left corner of the picture plane is written in colored pencil "8/20 Cracked Stone/OH." On the horizontal plane to the right of the inscription is written "Will Petersen '69-70" also in colored pencil. Sheet size: 29 1/2 x 20 1/2" Paper size: 25 3/4 x 17 3/8"
