Description

Etching in black ink on white paper bearing the watermark, "F.G. Head & Co" depicting a landscape with a road in the center foreground extending to the middle ground with three rocks to the right of the road in the immediate foreground and four large trees to the right in the middle ground on a hillside. To the left of the road in the middle-ground are three distinct bushes, a single tree, and a fence. In the distant middle ground is a grouping of three buildings, two of which have spires; several trees and a fence are also depicted. In the background are mountains with clouds and sky above. The print is signed in pencil immediately below the image on the right side, "Frederick Polley".
