background appear to be minnows or small fish swimming in an upward (to the left) diagonal pattern. En verso, the following is written in black ballpoint ink on the left side starting in the upper left corner and running down, "7/16 Jan (19)'80 (c)" and is signed in black ink starting 3/4 down on the left side and running down to the lower-left corner, "Carla Steiger-Meister."
