Pastel portrait of an older woman. The paper appears to have been creme but Glenn has covered it in dark tones. The woman's head is the focus surrounded by dark. She is slightly angled towards the viewer's left. Her dark hair is pulled back and her ears and nose stand out. There are hints and highlights of orange on her face. Signed Hinshaw 1910 in black pastel in the BRC.
