Oil painting of a seascape. There is a large rock formation extending from the left side. Waves are crashing against the rock. The waves are largest and whitest along the center of the image. Sky is filled with clouds but the horizon line is a little hazy. The painting is predominantly blue, gray, and white. Signed in the lower right corner "P. Raney Newman '65".
