Image of a country church with a large white cloud in the distant background. The church is constructed in an L formation. It has a tall belfry at the front of the building, while the backend of the building (the part that takes the bend in the L) appears to be a later addition since its architecture does not match the front. Behind the church there grows a tall tree that towers over the church, casting its shadow on the roof of the building. There is a lawn in front of the church that is surrounded by a barbed-wire fence. On a post near the road is a rural mailbox with the red pick-up flag hoised. On the lawn in front of the building, there is a tall tree that is dying. It stands in UR and UC of the picture plane. its upper limbs are barren, as are a few of its lower limbs.Acquisition
