Name/Title

Nebraska-Egyptian Landscape #3

Entry/Object ID

1985.1.1

Description

Central image appears to be attempting to overcome time/space relationships. Overall image is very rural. UC is a man pushing a red wheelbarrow. UL is a tree and configuration which appears to be a wood fence. UR appears to be roses in bloom; immediately below are three human forms that appear to be walking in the snow. C appears to be several cows and an open patio or entrance door of a house and fields beyond. LL are three pigs in evening landscape, and to their right is a rising moon and some fence rails. Entire pictorial plane is surrounded by white field which, LC and LR, invades and in jagged fashion traverses plan. This plane depicts the interior structure of an Egyptian pyramid. "BARTEK 1/1" written in colored pencil LR. No apparent manufacturer's watermark.
