Description

A set of 8 abstract collages. Created in 1968, edition of 60. 1979.18.1.1 - Blue and Black - Black and blue frame creating three connecting rectangles. The left rectangle is blue along the inside with black on the outside. The center rectangle is black on the top and blue on the bottom. The far right rectangle is blue just on the side connecting to the center rectangle. This rectangle has a tail extending from the bottom left corner. 1979.18.1.2 - Double Vertical Silver and Black - Paper is set portrait and contains two squares colored black and silver. Both squares are black along the bottom and left side while silver on the top and right. Each side of the squares vary in thickness. 1979.18.1.3 - White and Silver Frame - White and silver box on a black background. The top and left sides are white and the bottom and right sides are silver. Each side varies in thickness and shape. 1979.18.1.4 - Virgo Silver and Black - Silver box unraveling along the right side on a white background. 1979.18.1.5 - Blue, Silver, and Yellow - Blue background with a yellow and silver frame creating three rectangles. The left rectangle is silver along the inside with yellow on the outside. The center rectangle is yellow on the top and silver on the bottom. The far right rectangle is silver just on the side connecting to the center rectangle, the rest is yellow. This last rectangle has a tail extending from the bottom left corner. 1979.18.1.6 - Blue and Black Frame - Blue and black square on a white background. The top and left side are blue and the bottom and right side are black. Each side varies in thickness and shape. 1979.18.1.7 - Horizontal Vertical - Two blue, black, and silver squares touching on a yellow background. The left square is black on the top and left side and blue on the bottom and right side. The right square is silver on the top and left side and blue on the bottom and right side. 1979.18.1.8 - Black Virgo - Silver square unraveling along the right side on a black background.
