Description

R.W. Hampton was a singer-songwriter who had worked with people like Kenny Rogers. He performed at Evenings in the West several times throughout the years. This is a photograph of R.W. Hampton sitting in someone's living room signing a guitar. He is sitting on the floor with two children in front of a small bookcase. The carpet is white with a crisscross pattern. It looks like someone in a skirt is sitting in the chair behind him. It is nighttime outside because the windows are dark. The photo has a lot of shadow to it. R.W. and one of the children are dressed in a black cowboy hat, a button-down shirt, and jeans. The second child looks to be dressed in pajamas. R.W. in the photo is looking directly at the smaller child sitting in front of him and the older child is watching R.W. sign the guitar.
