The Martha's General Store exhibit existed in the Clasbey Community Center. When the Andrew County Museum was opened the exhibit was moved to the new building. In this picture, the General Store exhibit was set up in the basement. When the museum opened, the basement was used as more space to display exhibits.
This is a photograph of the "Martha's General Store," an exhibit that was in the basement of the Andrew County Museum. This exhibit was one of the ones that came over from the Clasbey Center. It shows how an old general store would have been set up with the front counter and the shelving behind the counter, with some of the goods that could have been bought. There is also an old cash register and a wood stove. Hanging on the wall to the left of the general store setup is a photo of what the general store would have fully looked like.Photograph Details
