Harry Duncan was told by his sister, Mabel Duncan Dray, that one day her Kewpie doll collection would go to him and his wife Anneliese. After discussing what to do with the collection, the couple decided to build a place where the collection could be stored and viewable to the public.
This is a pen and ink drawing of the Andrew County Museum. It is a one story brick building with the door toward the left end. Over the door is a peaked awning with another peak facing forward from the doorway to the left. The rest of the roof peaks behind this. On the left end is a vent. To the right of the door is "HARRY F. DUNCAN/BUILDING," and on the right end is "ANDREW COUNTY MUSEUM." There are two lights in the ground on the grass in front of the building, and a bench is next to the front sidewalk.Lexicon
