Description

1966 16ft Tahiti Jet Boat with trailer named "Lil Squirt". Lil Squirt has a 454 Chevrolet engine. Allegedly Lil Squirt was the first Tahiti out of the fiberglass mold for mass production and was intended for the Tahiti's founder Dick Schuster. The boat was unintentionally and mistakenly sold at its debut at the Southern California Anaheim Boat Show in 1965. The company decided to honor that sale to the Chandler family. Lil Squirt remained with the Chandlers until her donation to the Museum and is a pristine example of a mid-twentieth century fiberglass jet boat.
