Description

Inboard engine, Wonder Marine Engine Wonder Manufacturing Co., of Syracuse, produced a 2 cylinder, 6 HP marine engine. A few microscopic ads in issues of "Gas Power" magazine during 1907 constitute the available data on Wonder's marine engine line. Based on that, it is presumed that production from the Wonder factory ended shortly after it began. According to company officials, these engines were built in sizes from 1.5 to 30 HP, although the 3 HP, double cylinder model constitutes the only graphic portrayal of Wonder engines thus far discovered.
