Description

Inboard engine, St. Lawrence St. Lawrence River Motor & Machine Company, Clayton, NY produced this Model-T Ford conversion. An early ad proclaimed them "Vicinity agents for Loew-Victor, Van Blerck and Aristocrat Gas Engines." There were many of these used by fishing guides in their boats. An interesting note: each man who assembled one of these stamped his initials on a plate beneath the water pump, as can be seen on this model. It is a 1914, four cylinder, type O enngine.
