Delco Marine Generator
Manufactured by Delco-Light Company, Dayton, OH. Circa 1918-1920, the single cylinder, 32 volt generator gave a complete electric light and power service, independent of the main engines. It was advertised, "the upkeep cost is less than that of kerosene lamps." In 1921 prices were $295 and up. The generator was removed from the houseboat "Amaryllis" by George Inglehart in 1982.Collection
