Niagara Motors Corporation Niagara Special
The Niagara is a rare motor. This is a "Special", an in-line four cylinder. Features a Zenith updraft carburetor and induction coil ignition. There were apparently different versions of the Special; an advertisement in Yachting magazine April 1927 shows a Niagara Special with a crank start and a magneto ignition, advertised at 9-15 horsepower. A copy of the ad is the only item in the Niagara Motors Corporation file. This engine has a smashed distributor and is missing its sparkplugs. It turns over but does not show much compression.
